      Raphael Welcomes Les Howard

      Raphael vineyard and winery estate, proudly announces our new winemaker, Leslie Terry Howard. Mr. Howard is a native to the North Fork, with a farming ancestry dating back to the 1600's. He possesses a deep knowledge of the local terroir, and his hands-on winemaking style will pair perfectly with Raphael's focus on the highest quality wines. Raphael wines will continue to raise the bar on Long Island with a fresh, new outlook on the future and this inspired winemaker behind them.

      Wine on Tap

      Raphael is proud to announce our new "Green Line". As of Memorial Day Weekend, we will serve our wine on tap within the tasting room. Be one of the first to visit us and experience what is becoming a widespread phenomenon! Wine on tap is a new endeavor among Long Island Wine Country but not for the winery itself. Raphael has been working with The Bohlsen Restaurant Group providing vessels of red and white blends for their restaurants' wine tap system. It was only natural to venture into the use of a tap inside the tasting room as well. Currently, you can enjoy Raphael's wine on tap at: Verace in Islip, Vesta Trattoria & Wine Bar in Astoria, and also poured at The Montauk Yacht Club in Montauk this weekend.
